I have two daughters and both are about to hit 13. Young girls that they are, I don’t mind if they go gaga after seeing a man like Jason Dohring.
But when I broke the news that Jason would soon be appearing in a new television series Ringer and portraying the character of a teacher, my little angels made a face.
Initially, I laughed at their reactions, but stopped when I realized that I, myself, am a teacher in a high school!
I, cautiously, asked them what could be so wrong with Jason portraying a teacher.
I mean, if you let go of the pay we get and the trash talk we have to handle nowadays, it is the best job in the world!
To this, one of my daughters replied that Jason is too sizzling to portray the role of a teacher!
I didn’t know my girls could use such vocabulary for men.
Astonished, I made the point that teachers provide us with knowledge and that they shape our future.
To this, too, I met with a blunt, but true, reply that teachers are BORING!
I knew that I had totally lost the case.
I went to my room and pondered on myself being boring and not sizzling.
Soon, I discovered that she was right because most of my colleagues are duplicate copies of me.
After making a download of Veronica Mars actor’s photographs, I, once again, agreed to my daughter’s fact that Jason was too ‘sizzling’ to play a teacher.
Depressed, I went inside my daughters’ room and found them discussing the naughty character that Jason played as Logan Echolls in the television series, Veronica Mars.
Well, I am worried now that my girls are into bad boys.
